I listened to a lot of Bob Marley while painting this piece. This piece is my version of the perfect hogfish hunt. Imagine coming around a coral head and seeing a bunch of hogs grabbing crustaceans out of the stirred up sand from a stingray burying itself. A lot of people see it as the hogfish attacking the ray but the spears know what is going on. -
